about five or six years ago, embroidery began to become part of Flávia Ferreira's creative world. along this journey, she explored different textile techniques, tried macramé, and discovered other ways of working with her hands. among so many experiences, embroidery won a special place.
its practicality was one of the reasons: all you need is a bag with threads, needles, and fabric to take this art anywhere. a way of creating that keeps pace with life and can happen at home, on a trip, or during a quiet moment.
with the arrival of autumn and winter, when the days invite us to stay more at home and slow down, embroidery takes up even more space. it is a time for introspection, reflection, and creativity, where each stitch allows you to slow down and find pleasure in the process of making with your own hands.
in addition to jewellery and accessories, embroidery is another expression of Flávia's craftsmanship. although she creates and sells some pieces, it is through workshops that she most enjoys sharing this world, exploring different techniques and creative ideas.
more than learning to embroider, the idea is to discover a new way of creating, experimenting, and dedicating time to yourself.
